Nirīkṣayā
For schools

Teachers notice first.

Nirīkṣayā works with two kinds of school: the community schools where exceptional students are found, and the partner schools where they continue.

Rural & community schools

Know an exceptional student?

Teachers see ability long before anyone else does. If a student in your class is curious, quick and determined, a nomination can open a door that might otherwise stay closed.

How a nomination works
  1. 1Tell us about the student and why you noticed them
  2. 2We contact the student and their guardian
  3. 3The student joins the selection process — at no cost

A nomination does not commit the student to anything, and the student's guardian is always asked before the student takes part.

First name only. We ask for further details later, with the guardian's agreement.

Describe what you have seen: how they think, what they are good at, how they work.

Does the student's guardian know about this nomination?
Partner & receiving schools

Become a Nirīkṣayā Partner School

Partner schools offer places to Nirīkṣayā scholars and help them thrive. In return, they gain students selected for ability and motivation from parts of Nepal they may not otherwise reach.

What partner schools offer
  • Reserved or bursaried places for selected scholars
  • A named contact for scholar wellbeing
  • Honest feedback on scholar progress, with consent
What Nirīkṣayā provides
  • Students selected for aptitude and motivation
  • Pre-arrival preparation and ongoing mentorship
  • A transparent, documented selection process

Partnership terms are agreed school by school and written down before any scholar is placed. The first schools to join will help shape how the partnership works.
